Unfortunately, the appeal of this movie to me is so overpowering and all-consuming that each time I try to see it, I am escorted out of the theater, hyperventilating from anticipation.

The new White Stripes album is quite good. My favorite tracks are 3, 6, and 10.

Today there was a parade in New York City. God, I wish I was Puerto Rican.

Oscar-worthy performance by Denzel Washington.
